Visionary

Tammy Steckler-Cucca is the Founder and Executive Director of ABA Around the World, LLC. She founded the company in 2018 after returning from Okinawa, Japan. Tammy graduated with a Master of Education in Special Education with a Graduate Certificate in Autism and Educational Administration and is dually licensed as a BCBA, Administer, and special education teacher. She started in the field after working for the public school district as a special education teacher working with children with diagnoses of Emotionally Disturbed, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectually Disabled, Operationally Defiant Disorder, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, as a Special Education teacher in a self-contained and an inclusion classroom. She has worked in the ABA field for over 20 years, providing direct services, supervision and case management services, parent training and assessment services to young children and adolescents with various diagnoses and their families. After moving back to Virginia in 2018 she decided to open her own ABA company. She takes pride in her work and loves to grow and progress in the field. When she has time, she loves researching, attending conferences and webinars and finding advancements to better her practice.  In addition to being a Licensed Behavior Analyst - Tammy is a Virginia and Texas-certified teacher and administrator in K-12 Special Education and Education Administration.
